Daniela Vella

Daniel Vella
General Manager

Dan has worked in and around coffee his entire working life and specialises in building relationships having worked in sales and management roles in wholesale roasted coffee, green coffee and coffee packaging for over 18 years.

Dan is most passionate about developing winning partnerships and achieving great results jointly with customers, he believes everyone has a “top three” list of priorities when they are looking for a solution and that to succeed in the long term we need to fulfil these.

When not selling cupping or drinking coffee, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, the great outdoors, supporting the mighty Rabbitohs NRL team and does not mind a drop of a fine Mount Etna white!

Rudy Huemer
Quality Control Manager & Q Grader

With just over a decade of experience in the coffee industry, Rudy specialises in green coffee selection, coffee roasting and quality control procedures; having worked as a consultant for both boutique speciality coffee roasters and large distributors, he has also worked with small-holders and producers in coffee producing countries. Rudy has also previously been a head judge at Barista Championships and Brewer’s Cups at a national level in UK .

In the coffee lab, when not cupping samples, it’s very likely that you’ll find him experimenting with roast profiles, putting unique blends together or dialling in new arrivals on the espresso machine.

A strong believer that there is something to be learnt from everyone regardless of your level of expertise or background, Rudy loves any opportunity to meet new people and be challenged by different ways of thinking. In his spare time, he likes to grab a good novel that takes him to new & exciting places, loves a cold beer after a game and a cheeky burger from Pilgrim’s on the way to the beach.

Trish has worked in the coffee industry for 16 years – 12 yrs in wholesale/retail roasted coffee  and 4 years in green coffee from sales/customer service and the bean counting management roles! Prior to this media/music/radio industry and café owner as well.

Raised with the motto of “There is always something to learn from someone, somewhere when the opportunity arises, take those opportunities, life will always be a constant change”.

In my spare time you will find me cooking, baking, love trying new beverages and places to eat/drink , or at the beach ( my local is Bondi Beach surf club) or camp cove or finding beaches that are not so busy for a surf or swim, catch up with family and friends, my weekends are never planned always random so many things/places to try in life.
